Our programs run from September to June and we welcome 3-year-old and 4-year-old students. Find out more about each program.
2024-2025 School Year Tuition Rates
Application Checklist
☐ Apply using the online application form. Once your application has been processed (please allow for 1-2 business days), you will be notified if there is an available spot for your child.
☐ If a space is available, you will have 2 weeks to secure your spot with payment.
☐ $100 Registration Fee (non-refundable) dated for today ($50 if registering in January or later).
☐ June Tuition Deposit (non-refundable) in the amount of one months tuition, dated for today. This will be applied to your last month of the program (June).
☐ If paying by cheque: post-dated cheques for remaining months (example: September intake would need 9 cheques for September 1 – May 1).
Please make cheques payable to University Hill Preschool. E-Transfers and Credit Cards are also accepted. Please note that credit card transactions have a $15.00 online payment convenience charge. Tuition fees are subject to minimal increase on yearly basis voted on as needed by the parent board of directors.

Refund Policy: Withdrawal & Extended Absence
Once you have been notified of your acceptance in the program and the cheques have been received by the registrar, both the registration fee and deposit become non-refundable.
The remaining tuition (excluding the non-refundable deposit of June’s tuition) is refundable if a student leaves the program with one month’s written notice. If your child is scheduled to begin in September, notice of withdrawal must be received by July 31st.
Please note: No tuition will be refunded for April or May of the current school year unless written notice of withdrawal is given before February 28.
For extended absence, tuition payment for the days of absence is required to hold your child’s spot in the program.
Withdrawl Services and Refunds
In rare situations, it may be necessary for University Hill Preschool to withdraw services. However, we will make every attempt to work with the family to resolve the issue(s) to the mutual satisfaction of all parties, provided that the arrangement does not: compromise the mission and values of University Hill Preschool; put the staff, the child, or other participants at risk; or diminish the learning experience for the other participants.
Situations are dealt with on an individual basis, considering the specific needs of the child/children and circumstances of the family. In such situations, deposits and refunds may returned at the discretion of the University Hill Preschool staff.
Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is available through the Ministry of Social Services for those who qualify.

Observations
Observations for prospective students may be recommended to ensure the program is a good fit for your child. They will be scheduled by appointment Monday-Thursday during the school year after we have received your application.

Download our new student welcome package. Please bring all items and completed forms to the Annual General Meeting or Parents Social Get Together, so that the teachers can prepare the classroom, an email will be sent with these dates. If your child is joining us mid-year, please prepare all items and forms for his or her first day of school.
